Hezbollah To Open ‘New Front’ In Golan Heights

gpmlogoenkel

Beloved Prayer Warriors ,

we are sending this prayer alert due to the fact that things are becoming increasingly hot on the northern border of Israel and the Golan could become engulfed in the war ! Read the articles and pray accordingly for the Head nation Israel! Pray also for the believers in Lebanon, Turkey, Jordan and Syria

111228_invadegazaIran has convinced Syria to allow Hezbollah to open a “new front” against Israel in the Golan Heights, the London-based Arabic-language newspaper al-Hayat reported Wednesday.

Tehran, seeking to prevent the fall of Syrian President Bashar Assad’s government, asked Damascus if Hezbollah could set up a new military front against Israel in the Golan.

“All Arabs and Muslims” are requested to join the fight against Israel, Tehran said, according to Israel Radio.

The report comes a week after Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah vowed to respond to Jerusalem’s ostensible aggression against Syria with the help of Syria’s advanced “game-changing” weapons. The next stage, he warned during a speech, would be opening up a front on the Golan Heights.

The Palestinian newspaper al-Quds also reported Wednesday that Tehran had persuaded Damascus “to open the door to jihad” in the Golan Heights in an effort enable Arab and Muslim fighters to unite and confront Israel, so that they’re “ready” if Israel strikes Syria again.

According to unnamed Israeli and American sources, Israeli planes struck sites outside Damascus twice during the first weekend in May, targeting weapons transfers from Iran to Hezbollah. The Syrian regime warned a few days later that it would retaliate immediately to future Israeli attacks on its soil.

The al-Quds website wrote that Iran also discussed the issue with other Arab leaders, namely Jordan’s King Abdullah, who expressed his own “concerns” about the surge of radical Islamist groups, such as the Jabhat al-Nusra, in Syria.

The Lebanese daily al-Akhbar suggested last week that Iran had “reached a final decision” to respond to Israel’s reported strike on Syria by “turning the Golan into a new Fatah-land. The front has become open to Syrians and Palestinians and anyone who wants to fight Israel.”
Earlier this week, the Syrian government announced that it reserves the right to invade the Israeli-held Golan Heights at any time, and accused Jerusalem of violating the terms of the 1974 ceasefire that ended the Yom Kippur War.

During a speech in Damascus, Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi accused Israel of attacking sites near the Syrian capital, allowing rebel groups to operate in the demilitarized zone separating Israeli and Syrian forces on the Golan Heights, and letting those groups kidnap UN observers on multiple occasions.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow Tuesday in what was described as a bid to prevent Moscow from selling the cutting-edge missile defense system, the S-300, to Damascus. Jerusalem fears that the advanced weaponry could fall into the hands of Hezbollah, Syria’s key ally in neighboring Lebanon.

If Jesus lived in Israel today…

Would he and his family be safe in Bethlehem? More importantly, does anyone remember that they were Jews?

Wednesday, December 19, 2012 |  Aviel Schneider – israeltoday.co.il

121219_jesusandmary“A thought for Christmas… If Jesus and mother Mary were alive today, they would, as Jews without security, probably end up being lynched in Bethlehem by hostile Palestinians. Just a thought…”

That was the message posted by an Israeli official to the Facebook page of the Israeli embassy in Ireland this week. It took only a matter of minutes for the post to raise such an outcry that the embassy was forced to delete it and issue an apology.

It is arguable if such an idea is correct or not, but the fact is that many people in Europe (and maybe the US) have forgotten the Jewish background of Jesus and his earthly family.

Everywhere you go in Europe, you are constantly confronted with two Jews – Jesus hanging on a cross and Mary with a baby in her arms. In restaurants, bars, and of course churches, there they are. And yet, a majority of Europeans no longer remembers that these two iconic figures are part of the Jewish people.

A year ago when Palestinians put on a provocative performance depicting Joseph, Mary and Jesus in front of an Israeli checkpoint near Bethlehem, nobody made a fuss about that. But the truth is that the family of Jesus is not a Palestinian family. They are a Jewish family.

Big disappointment in Israel

Posted on November 22, 2012 on http://israelgpm.wordpress.com/

Soldiers and civilians in Israel are for the most part extremely disappointed with the decision of the government to implement cease fire before time.

PM Netanyahu declared that the established goals of diminishing the Hamas power has been achieved however both the public and the military were ready for a much more thorough operation to defeat and uproot the Hamas altogether. Most government buildings were indeed destroyed, 180 dead in Gaza, 900 wounded, and out of 10000 Hamas has “only” 5000 rockets left.

However, Palestinian Prime Minister Haniyeh declared victory and that Hamas won public recognition. On top of it he stated that Pillar of Cloud operation is a wonderful bridge for the real purpose which is the conquest of Jerusalem and all “their” land. It looks that in spite of all their hits (1500 air force hits over Gaza) they are actually very encouraged by the outcome while most of the Israeli citizens are discouraged, very unhappy about this.

PM Netanyahu states that if the cease fire will be broken by Hamas, Israel will be ready for a more radical operation including the takeover of Gaza (implied by the PM but mentioned by the media)

Israel lost 6 people (2 soldiers and 4 civilians) and 450 wounded. Iron Dome managed to pre- explode 450 rockets preventing much damage and loss of life.

We shall continue praying until all of Israel is saved and established in its Land. For sure His promises will be kept!

Until January 22 Israel is in a race for new elections! Let us pray for a leader after YHVH’s (Gods) own heart!

Thank you and bless you for keeping your prayers flowing for Israel as requested in Isaiah 62:1,6,7

His Kingdom come and will be done in Israel in Yeshua’s name!

“For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent” Isaiah 62;1

DAY SIX OF OPERATION PILLAR OF CLOUD

Posted on November 19, 2012

Shalom beloved prayer warriors and lovers of Israel!

As we enter into the sixth day of the war we can clearly see that a cease fire should not happen yet! Hamas is still too self assured even though they have suffered the loss of 48 of their terrorists and many of their buildings, even government buildings have been destroyed. Unfortunately we see that Mr. Ban Ki Moon from the UN (who is coming to Israel and Gaza today) and President Obama are trying to organize a cease fire much too soon. This morning we received information that President Obama is giving Israel 48 more hours.

Please pray that Israel will not bend to public opinion. USA has been supporting the operation thus far and we pray that they will not intervene before time. Even Turkey that is in total enmity with Israel is trying to negotiate a “cease fire” prematurely! The Moslem term for such a cease fire is HUDNA which means: “When your enemy is strong, make peace with him and when he is weak then attack and conquer”. A cease fire right now will be a HUDNA in order to allow the Hamas to rearm and to get strengthened again in order to attack when stronger. We must not allow a HUDNA! It is like a snake hiding in the darkness, ready to bite in a later stage!

Yesterday Hamas shot 140 rockets towards the Neguev, one towards Herzlya (North of Tel Aviv) and one rocket also to Eilat.

This is clearly not a behavior of a vanquished enemy that is ready for a cease fire! Pray Psalm 35 and Obadiah 15-21

Pray for one Israeli that is severely wounded and for the many that are lightly wounded and suffer from trauma, especially for the little children in the bomb shelters that they will be fearless!

The IDF is about to enter Gaza with tanks and heavy artillery however President Obama has been against it. Pray again that YHVH will stop anyone that tries to stop Israel against His will! We must remember that if we stop before time, it can cost us dearly and another war will be necessary in a few months from now. Israel has already drafted about 75000 reserve soldiers!

Last night 7 terrorists were killed and 40 were wounded. The Hamas is trying to use it in order to manipulate the United Nations to call it a “slaughter”.

The decision today is between a ground operation into Gaza and between a cease fire. A ground operation would lengthen the time of the war but to go deeper into destroying the terror infrastructures and a cease fire would cause them to recover and strike again. All the voices from the Neguev residents and leaders are crying out to the Israeli government not to stop before time! They have suffered for years of constant tension and fire from Hamas and they are begging for this operation to be THOROUGH! And we say AMEN!

We believe that better than a ground operation is to actually cut off their electricity and water that Israel has been supplying to Gaza even through the war and put the ball in the courts of Egypt Gaza’s ally to supply them with electric and water.

Miracles And Praise Reports

only 3.5% of all the rockets launched have fallen in populated places, all others have fallen in open fields! This is an outcome of all our prayers! Praise YHVH! Keep praying for more missed fire and for the Air Force to keep on hitting the terror infrastructure with no respite!

The Iron Dome has manage to intercept and prevent 300 rockets from exploding on the ground! As we pray we are forming a Spiritual Iron Dome over Israel and a Talit (Mantle) of Mercy. Please continually declare Psalm 91 over Israel

Thank you for your faithfulness to pray and let us believe for the God of Israel to show His Power and Covenant!

He will remember His covenant forever. He has made known to His people the power of His works. Psalm 111:5,6

HAMAS: Gaza is NOT under occupation

Hamas leader himself admits what Israel has been saying all along, and what international activists refuse to acknowledge: Gaza is not under occupation, or even under siege

Tuesday, October 02, 2012 | Yossi Aloni – israeltoday.co.il

“Gaza has been freed from occupation. Gaza is not under siege, and her connection with the outside world has become a lot easier with visitors from around the world coming to Gaza beaches.”

The man behind that statement is none else than Mahmoud Al-Zahar, one of the founders and top Gaza-based leaders of Hamas, the terrorist organization that rules Gaza.

Al-Zahar made the remark in an interview with the Bethlehem-based Palestinian news agency Ma’an. What he said actually lines up with what Israeli spokesmen have been saying since Israel pulled out of Gaza in 2005, and Israel’s Foreign Ministry is keen to play up that fact.

Foreign Ministry officials in Jerusalem are working to push Al-Zahar’s quote to Israeli embassy staff around the world, and encouraging them to use the Hamas leader’s words as a counter to further accusations that Israel has Gaza under siege.

In the interview, Al-Zahar went on to say that Gaza’s economic situation is improving, thanks primarily to new agricultural crops grown on the farms and settlements of the Jews who were forcibly removed. “We are self-sustaining in many areas, except for oil and electricity,” said Al-Zahar.

Al-Zahar insisted that the poor economic conditions in Judea and Samaria (the so-called “West Bank”), which is ruled by the rival Palestinian Authority, are the result of reliance on American and Israeli economic support and cooperation.

Al-Zahar concluded that, as Hamas knew from day one, the outcome of the peace process with Israel has been entirely negative. The two state solution is dead, he said.

Israel to West: Follow Canada’s lead

Israel enormously encouraged by Canada’s decision to sever ties with Iran over its defiant nuclear program; Netanyahu: If more countries did the same, Iran might be stopped

Monday, September 10, 2012 | Ryan Jones – israeltoday.co.il

Israel this week loudly praised Canada’s decision to cut ties with Iran over its defiant nuclear program. Jerusalem insisted that the only way to prevent armed conflict in the region is for the rest of the West to similarly get a lot more serious about halting the Islamic Republic’s quest to attain nuclear weapons.

“I would like to congratulate Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper for taking a daring and moral step…and thereby sending a principled and important message to the entire world,” said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at Sunday’s cabinet meeting. “I call on the entire international community, or at least on its responsible members, to follow in Canada’s determined path and set Iran moral and practical red lines, lines that will stop its race to achieve nuclear weapons.”

Hours later, an Israeli cabinet minister told Channel 2 News that Canada’s decision to close its Tehran embassy had significantly lessened Israel’s feeling that it must act alone against Iran. Israelis today believe that most of the West is either resigned to the idea of Iran attaining nuclear weapons, or is too weak to do anything about it. But if more nations follow Canada in truly isolating the Iranian regime, Israel will not feel so desperate as it determines what to do about the threat, suggested the unnamed minister.

In an interview with Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), Netanyahu said he was in talks with the United States to set red lines of its own for Iran. But later in the day, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton blunted hopes that Canada’s example would spark a broader international reaction by insisting that the Obama Administration would “not set deadlines” for Iran’s compliance.

“We’re convinced that we have more time to focus on sanctions,” said Clinton.

US presidential challenger Mitt Romney used the opportunity to lay into Obama:

“The president has not drawn us further away from a nuclear Iran and in fact Iran is closer to having nuclear capability than when he took office. This is the greatest failure of his foreign policy,” Romney told NBC’s “Meet the Press,” adding, “In the words of [Israeli] Prime Minister Netanyahu, ‘Iran has not changed its nuclear course one iota by virtue of this president’s policies.’ And that’s something I intend to change.”

Meanwhile, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad met in Tehran with Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar, telling his guest that the “arrogant powers and enemies are trying to manage the developments in the region so as to save the Zionist regime [from destruction].”

Netanyahu: Israel understands America’s pain over embassy murders

PM sends condolences to US after attacks in Egypt and Libya that killed four Americans, including an ambassador; violence the result of Islamists’ intolerance for full freedom of speech

Thursday, September 13, 2012 | Ryan Jones – israeltoday.co.il

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday conveyed Israel’s condolences to the United States over this week’s murders of four consular staff members at the American diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, noting that no nation knows better than Israel what it is like to deal with such brutal acts of terror.

“The people of Israel grieve with the American people; we send our condolences to the families,” said Netanyahu. “If there’s any people in the world that understands what Americans are going through, what they went through in 9/11, it’s the people of Israel, who’ve been standing at the forefront of the battle against terrorism, who’ve lost loved ones and who deeply, deeply sympathize with the people of America at this time.”

The attack on the American consulate in Benghazi and a parallel assault on the US Embassy in neighboring Egypt were sparked by the distribution of a film produced in America that portrays Islam’s Prophet Mohammed as a violent pedophile. The secretive producer of the film originally identified himself as an Israeli Jew, but has since been disputed.

When the US Embassy in Cairo issued a statement apologizing for the film, many Americans were angered, arguing that even if the content was offensive, America’s freedom of speech guarantees citizens the right to voice their opinions. Others noted that the American apology played into the hypocritical hands of the rioters, who are part of a society that regularly produces music, TV shows and movies that denigrate the Jewish and Christian faiths.

The Obama Administration quickly distanced itself from the embassy statement, insisting that it had not been approved by the White House.

“The statement by Embassy Cairo was not cleared by Washington and does not reflect the views of the United States government,” a US government official told the American online news website Politico.

Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton put the Libya attack on a “small, savage” group of extremists, and the head of Libya’s national assembly formally apologized for the American deaths on Libyan soil.

However, both the Libya and Egypt incidents have again raised concerns that last year’s Arab Spring has been hijacked radical Islamists who have no intention whatsoever of implementing the kind of Western democracy and social freedoms that were promised.
