Flee the Kabbalah deception

Shabbats letter from Israel

Torah Portion Vayerah: Bereshit (Genesis) 18-22

And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14

Shabbat shalom dearly beloved:

A while ago we were invited to minister in Ecuador to a congregation that has chosen to network with our ministry as we mentor them. As I was ministering to the people after a poignant teaching calling to repentance from various things, some of the members asked for prayer. They said to me: Some time ago Messianic Rabbi G. from another town came and taught us about the “Jewish Roots”, including some things about Kabbalah, Sefirot or emanations. He laid hands on us and “blessed” us. Since he blessed us we cannot hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, we feel strange and oppressed! I immediately asked them to repent from listening to deceptive theologies and for letting this particular “rabbi” laid hands on them. As they did, I broke the curse of Kabbalah, cast out the spirit of deception and New Age and declared the Power of Yeshua’s Blood to deliver! Immediately these people fell under the Power of God and came back restored to their relationship with Yeshua like little babies, ready to drink the pure milk of the Word! The oppression left and the Anointing returned! HaleluYah!

Judaism versus Torah!

One of the most common deceptions among Christians returning to the Jewish Roots of the Faith is the entanglement with unbiblical “Jewish” traditions and especially the Kabbalah and the Talmud! It is imperative that we understand that not everything “Jewish” is also “Hebrew” or Biblical. Judaism is a religious system much like Christianity that its source is in the poisonous tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

The YHVH Elohim commanded the man, saying, “From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.” Genesis 2:16, 17

When we call people to return to the Jewish Roots, Hebrew Foundations of the Gospel, the Call is not to another religious system but to the Truth of the Hebrew Holy Scriptures, namely the Tanakh as in its entirety both “Old” Testament and New Testament are the Word of Elohim-God!

Thus says YHVH,
“Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; and you will find rest for your souls. Jeremiah 6:16

When we call the people to forsake feasts of pagan origin such as Christmas, Easter and Halloween and restore the Holy Moadim-Feasts and Convocations, we are not calling people to Judaism but to Torah! The Torah is described in the five first books of the Bible as the instructions given to the People of Israel.  Yeshua spoke highly of the Torah when He emphatically said that He did not come to abolish it!

“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever [keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:17-19

In other words Yeshua through the Holy Spirit is the one that interprets the Torah to His followers! Not any other Jewish Rabi or theologian, not the Talmud or the Kabbalah or any external book to the Bible! It is important to note that we can only walk in obedience to YHVH’s Commandments when we are born again, spirit filled and live in intimate communion with Yeshua the Jewish Messiah. Any attempts to “be good” without His Perfect Blood Atonement is totally futile and leads to religiosity and to fall from Grace!

And Yeshua said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. Luke 18:19

Yeshua answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:5, 6

The Torah written in the hearts and minds of the New Covenant believers is the only Biblical sign that they are indeed in the New Covenant! Only the Holy Spirit can write the Torah in our hearts!

“Behold, days are coming,” declares YHVH, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the LORD.  “But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the LORD, “I will put My law (Torah!) Within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Jeremiah 31:31-34

Please note that the New Covenant is made with the House of Israel and Judah and not with the Gentiles! Gentiles join into a preexisting New Covenant with the Ancient and Chosen (forever!) People of Israel through the Royal, Holy Blood of the Jewish Messiah Yeshua.

Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “Uncircumcision” by the so-called “Circumcision,” which is performed in the flesh by human hands. Remember that you were at that time separate from Messiah, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.  But now in Messiah Yeshua you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Messiah. Ephesians 2:11-13

There is no New Covenant without Israel and Judah and there is no other Messiah besides Yeshua the Jewish Messiah. The Word of God made flesh, the Son of Elohim who left His Divinity to become a Man fulfilling numerous prophecies!

For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will  rest on His shoulders;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace
. Isaiah 9:6

Judaism is not holy but Torah is

Your word, YHVH, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. Psalms 119:89

As I stated before, Judaism is not our goal when we return to the Jewish/Hebrew Foundations of faith or what I call “The Gospel Made in Zion”. While there are some Jewish traditions that are very beautiful and even prophetic, there are others that are purely heretical. Kabbalah is a religious system within Judaism that is born of satan (who disguises himself as an angel of light!) for the purpose of deceiving the Jews even further. It is a Replacement Theology system that seeks to replace the work of the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit), the truth of Yeshua and the New Covenant. It is born during the Middle Ages in France and moves to Spain. That says a lot about the source of Kabbalah! The Middle Ages are also called the Dark Ages. It was a time so dark in the history of mankind that gave birth to many religious heresies among them Catholics and also Jewish.

Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. Matthew 7:15-17

Today Kabbalah is regarded as “Torah” by many and even more important than the Torah received by Moses. In order to make it “valid” Kabbalists state that Moses got the Kabbalah when he went up Mount Sinai for the second time! Their statements are totally opposed by the Hebrew Holy Scriptures that state that both on the first and the second time, Moses got the Tablets of the Testimony from YHVH (Ten Commandments). No mention in the Holy Scriptures about the Kabbalah at all!

And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as YHVH had commanded him, and took in his hand two tables of stone. Exodus 34:4

The following quote is from http://www.myjewishlearning.com/history/Ancient_and_Medieval_History/632-1650/Islamic_World/Spain/Kabbalah.shtml

The Kabbalah (Hebrew for “handed down by tradition”) made its appearance in the twelfth century in Provence, southern France, which at the time was the scene of the Cathar heresy [one of a number of dualistic religious revivals during the Middle Ages]. It reached maturity, however, in thirteenth-century Spain, with the composition of Sefer ha‑Zohar (“Book of Splendor”). Henceforth, the Kabbalah became the main trend of Jewish mysticism, theosophy and esotericism, comprising many different, at times contradictory, approaches.

Basically, kabbalists wanted to transform Judaism into a more profound inner experience; an experience, so they believed, that could not be attained through a rational and intellectual approach to religion. For them Judaism was a system of mystical symbols reflecting the mystery of God and the universe, and their aim was to discover keys to the understanding of this symbolism.

The Zohar, generally attributed to Moses de Leon, sought to revive a “communion” between the faithful and divinity. The Divine manifests itself in ten Sefirot (emanations) representing an intermediate stage between God and creation. Just as these emanations are contained within the Godhead, so they impregnate all beings outside it. Man is capable, by practicing precise rites, of influencing the Sefirot which determine the span and progress of the world. The theory of Sefirot became the backbone of Spanish kabbalist teachings, represented by a great number of images.

In time, two attitudes emerged: one esoteric, which tried to restrict the secrets of kabbalist wisdom to a small circle of initiates; and a second which insisted that it should be widely‑spread, benefiting everyone

Kabbalists refer to the Mosaic encounters as the outer and inner teaching. The first encounter of Moses with God is when he received the 10 Commandments. This is called the outer teaching. It was upon the second encounter with God that Moses received the Kabbalistic truths. This is referred to as the inner teaching.

Throughout history, Kabbalists have chosen to keep their esoteric interpretations of the Torah hidden from the general populace and religious leaders of the day. Many of the Kabbalists were persecuted and many others knew that their teachings contradicted accepted Jewish and Christian theologies. Therefore, they practiced a self-imposed silence.

Today Kabbalah has become popularized by such writers as Yehuda Berg and spread by the internet and TV. Many traditional Jewish cabalists condemn contemporary Kabbalah movements as fanciful and overly popularized misrepresentations of authentic Kabbalistic philosophy. Whichever the case, today’s Kabbalah is definitely more new age than biblical. Even though modern popularized Kabbalah has been condemned by traditional cabalists, readings from the Zohar, which is several hundred years old and is at the heart of Kabbalah, reveals theology reminiscent of the new age: reincarnation, inner divinity, pantheism, etc.

The truth is that Kabbalah has evolved. But it has evolved from one heresy deeper into another. It is not biblical and it is not true.

Yehuda Ashlag’s textbook Talmud Eser Sefirot (The Study of the Ten Sefirot) is designed as a study aid with questions, answers, materials for repetition and explanations. This is, if you will, the physics of the upper worlds, describing the laws and forces governing the universe on the spiritual realm.

This material gradually transforms the students, because when searching how to experience the spiritual world, one gradually adapts oneself to the spiritual laws described in the textbook.

The science of Kabbalah does not deal with life in this world. Instead, by studying this system we re-attain the level we possessed before we descended. During this ascent, the study of Kabbalah builds within the student a system equal to the spiritual system

The Word of Elohim tells us that there is only one MEDIATOR between God and man.Yeshua the Messiah, certainly no “emanations” or “Sefirot!”

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Messiah Yeshua. 1 Timothy 2:5

Also it tells us that we cannot “improve ourselves” by studying anything in order to be restored to relationship with the Creator. We must repent of our sins and accept the only blood atonement that releases Yah’s (God’s) forgiveness towards us- The Blood of Yeshua!” We must be born again, we cannot “evolve”!

Yeshua replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. John 3:3

Kabbalah is looking to help men “ascend” to the Almighty and to become “divine” much like the Tower of Babel.

Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.” Genesis 11:4

The Word of God tells us that all our works are like filthy rags!

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags (menstrual cloths!); and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.Isaiah 64:6

We must repent, be forgiven and be born again! It also tells us that the heart is desperately wicked!

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9

We cannot “improve” the condition of our hearts with any kind of study; we must get a NEW HEART!

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.Ezekiel 36:26

In short Kabbalah is the most popular form of” Jewish” New Age with much Hinduism (reincarnation) and it denies the need for repentance from sin and blood atonement!

For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life. Leviticus 17:10

Thus it is not “Jewish” at all but rather pagan and New Age! Those who practice Kabbalah will suffer demon oppression, possession, will hear voices of dead Rabbis as “ascended masters” and “spiritual guides”, will be in great confusion and can also be affected by spiritual madness and mental sickness.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27

Because Kabbalah is “another “gospel” and another “torah” it will bring many curses and will cause those Messianic or Christian believers delving into it to fall from Grace! The anointing of the Holy Spirit will leave such a person and evil spirits of New Age will take His place!

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to and different from that which we preached to you, let him be accursed (anathema, devoted to destruction, doomed to eternal punishment)! Galatians 1:8 Amplified Bible

If you have fallen prey to this deception, please go on your knees TODAY, repent and renounce it and command the spirits of Kabbalah and New Age to leave your life for good in Yeshua’s name! Immerse yourself in the Holy Scriptures and burn all deceptive books in your possession! I strongly suggest that you order our books “Eradicating the Cancer of Religion” and “Grafted In” to help you in your deliverance and quest for the true Jewish Roots of the Gospel.
